Arctech welding + machining was accepted by BC Hydro to fabricate a Draft Tube Platform for the GMS power plant. The platform was made completely out of aluminum and all welding done on it was completed as per CSA standards W47.2 to level 3, additionally, this job required heavy use of our various machining equipment. Upon completion a trial assembly was carried out to assure the platform’s quality.
